The longing to disappear completely. To melt into a crowd and become invisible so you can take in the world without having to take part in it. Free to wander through conversations without ever leaving footprints. Free to dive deep into things without worrying about making a splash. You’re finally free.

“Human life moves fast, sometimes it moves too fast. My goal was to slow the movement of city life to get a better understanding of human nature.”

“Night”

Shortly after the world shut down everything seemed still for a brief moment. I took solace in the night and wanted to capture how it made me feel to wander aimlessly throughout my life…

Every photo was a long exposure with the shutter being open for upwards of 8 minutes. These were taken using my knowledge of reciprocity failure on Kodak Portra 400 film from the times of 0000 to 0300.

“Bliss”

My Goal was to take photos with the most simple compositions I could find. I wanted to display nostaglia and a kind of “dreamy” vibe throughout these photos. During the entire time I was in St. Croix the lens on my Canon AE-1 was fogged up so it made for somme interesting results once i got my film scans back.

2021

Over the past few years I've been very content with my work. I usually go out and either do street photography or try to make some sort of natural documentation minimalist photography. I have fallen into a groove where it's very comforting to go out and take the same types of photos, hell, it's to the point where I just go and click whatever I think is cool and look at the photos later. I have nothing wrong with that but I feel like I haven't explored other avenues of photography. Quicksilver will represent a fast and familiar image, my goal was to make photos that everyone has seen before in their lives. I will shoot every photo on 1/60 of a second or slower. Very quick and silver.

“Detachment 225”

During my time in AFROTC I was able to be the Public Affairs section chief for my detachment for one year. I took a slew of potraits and professional work for our brand to share with the public. I was selected to become a Public Affairs officer in the USAF as of 2022.
